Synchronous production means to produce, to transport, to pass on, to manage, to improve etc. the required parts in necessary quantity at the requested point in time.
This has to be effected with staff and machines as few as possible at a lead time as short as possible. If these things are implemented on schedule, it is spoken of a synchronous production system.
The basis for the successful development of the synchronous production principle is
the change from push to pull production (pull system) as well as the orientation towards the principle of the single piece flow. The system is equipped with an autonomous nervous system which bares deviations relentlessly and visualizes wastefulness.
Synchronous production is based on the respect for man (standardization and rythmization of human work flow) and results in a reduction of manufacturing costs at the same time.
